(The person in charge of the election shall give notice of the testing of the automatic tabulating equipment at least one week before, but not more than ten days before the date of testing and shall post the notice in the same manner as a public meeting agenda, pursuant to SDCL 1-25-1.1.)
Notice is hereby given to the public, the county chair of each political party with a candidate on the ballot, any independent candidate or candidate without party affiliation on the ballot, and the ballot question committees for or against an initiated or referred measure or initiated constitutional amendment, that the automatic tabulating equipment will be tested to ascertain that it will correctly count the votes for all offices and measures that are to be cast at the Primary Runoff election held on the 28th day of July, 2026.
The test will be conducted on the 21st day of July 2026, at 9 o'clock a.m. at the following location: Meade County Auditor Office, 1300 Sherman Street, Ste 126, Sturgis, South Dakota.
