Revised Ordinances

The following ordinances have recently been revised:

• Ordinance 24:  Placement of Signs and Billboards
• Ordinance 33:  Wastewater Treatment and Water Systems
• Ordinance 9:  Regulations for Flood Damage Prevention

The second readings for each of these ordinances was held on September 6th, 2011, and the revised ordinances went into effect October 11th, 2011.

Fee Updates

Please note the following approved Fee Schedule that was just approved by the Meade County Commissioners on October 4th, 2011:

Several permit fees will be defined in this Fee Schedule instead of in the individual Ordinances

Revised FEMA Flood Plain Maps for Meade County

FEMA recently revised Meade County's Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map.  These revised flood plain maps went into effect on September 16, 2011.

The full revised FIRM is available to view in the Equalization & Planning Office.

Stormwater Management Plan

The Meade County Stormwater Management Plan was adopted by the Meade County Commissioners on February 21st, 2011.
